About the role

The Muslim Community and Education Centre, also known as Palmers Green Mosque, is recruiting a Saturday School Principal. The role is permanent, on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm plus one flexible weekday hour to catch up with the CEO.

The principal leads the school each week: supporting and supervising teachers and assistants, overseeing the Islamic studies and Qur'an curriculum, monitoring progress and assessments, keeping registers and safeguarding records, and communicating with parents. Helping with events, assemblies and presentations is part of the role.

It suits a calm, dependable leader with sound Islamic studies and Qur'an knowledge, experience in a supplementary school and a real commitment to safeguarding.
