About the role
Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls' School, an independent Islamic school for girls in Forest Gate, is recruiting a part-time Science Intervention Teacher for Key Stage 4.
You will teach and support the pupils assigned to you, set and mark work, run assessments and keep records of progress, and help colleagues plan lessons and schemes of work. The focus is on helping every pupil, including those with special educational needs, make strong progress in science. You will also take part in cover, supervision rotas, meetings and school events.
It suits a degree-educated science teacher, ideally with QTS and UK classroom experience, who motivates pupils with creative lessons and handles behaviour positively.
