Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Muslim Charity Jobs, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Draft, last updated 26 October 2026. This page is a draft and may change before the site launches.
Our aim
We design and build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means, for example, you should be able to:
- use every page with a keyboard alone, and always see where you are on the page;
- use the site with a screen reader, and with speech recognition software;
- zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen;
- read text with enough contrast, and turn off animation through your device settings;
- use buttons and links large enough to tap on a phone;
- use forms that say clearly what went wrong and how to fix it.
How accessible the site is
The site is new and we haven't had it independently tested yet. [PLACEHOLDER: results of the accessibility audit and any known problems, with dates for fixing them]
Some things we know about:
- Listings and logos come from employers, so their wording and images may not always meet our standards. We check listings before they go live.
- Job adverts on employers' own websites, where you apply for many jobs, are outside our control. If you can't use one, tell us and we will contact the employer.
- The bot check on our forms is provided by Cloudflare. If it doesn't work for you, contact us and we will help you another way.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@muslimcharityjobs.co.uk or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply within two working days.
If you are not happy with our response, see contact and complaints. You can also contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
