About the role

Hayes Muslim Centre is looking for enthusiastic male and female teachers to join its madrasah team. Sessions run on weekday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and on weekend mornings from 10am to 12pm.

Teachers teach Qur'an with tajweed and Islamic studies, in English, to children aged 5 to 15, helping to shape their knowledge, character and development. Good classroom management and the ability to nurture pupils with patience and care are key.

It suits committed, punctual and well-organised teachers with previous teaching experience who can recite and teach the Qur'an with tajweed and explain Islamic studies confidently. Pay depends on qualifications and experience, and an enhanced DBS check and references are required.
