About the role

Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls' School, an independent Islamic school in Forest Gate, is recruiting a part-time teacher of Physical Education for Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will take responsibility for pupils' progress in PE across the school: planning schemes of work and lessons, assessing and reporting, marking regularly and giving clear feedback to pupils and parents. The role includes providing subject leadership for PE, supporting clubs and events, covering lessons, supervision duties and occasional assemblies, while promoting the school's Islamic values.

It suits a warm, organised teacher with a degree, ideally QTS and a PE qualification, who manages behaviour positively and has experience of planning and assessment in a UK school.
