About the role

MCEC Palmers Green Mosque is recruiting a female teaching assistant for its girls' hifz class. Sessions run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, and Friday from 5:30pm to 7pm, both in person and online.

You will support students through their memorisation and revision, helping them build confidence, consistency and strong tajweed. The role includes delivering engaging lessons, managing the class positively, giving individual support, and tracking each learner's progress.

It suits a Hafiza with a strong command of the Qur'an and tajweed, a supportive and flexible teaching style, and ideally some previous teaching experience.
