Arabic Teacher for Adult Learners

The Islamic Cultural Centre at London Central Mosque is recruiting two teachers for its Arabic courses for adults, one male and one female, in its Education Department. Classes run on weekday evenings and at weekends.

Teachers plan and deliver lessons that build learners' speaking, listening, reading and writing, assess progress and give feedback, keep records, adapt materials, use modern methods and technology, and look after learners' wellbeing.

The posts suit experienced Arabic teachers with excellent spoken and written Arabic, ideally with a degree in Arabic, education or linguistics and experience teaching adults. Teaching qualifications and UK experience are an advantage.
