About the role

Muslim Aid is looking for a Global Programmes Lead to head up its international and UK programme delivery. Reporting to the Head of Impact, this senior role oversees the country programmes, partnerships, humanitarian response and safety and security teams, making sure they work together as one.

You will drive programme quality, compliance, value for money and risk management across a multi-country portfolio, help country offices and partners build their capacity, and support the growth of institutional funding and strategic partnerships. The role also leads Muslim Aid's emergency response capability.

It suits a senior manager with a degree in international development or a related field and substantial experience leading humanitarian or development programmes at a distance. The post is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the London office and regular overseas travel. Full details and how to apply are on the employer's website.

  • Degree in international development or a related field
  • Substantial senior management experience in international development or humanitarian programmes, including managing country offices and partners remotely
  • Proven record leading programme quality, design, MEAL and compliance across several countries
  • Strong leadership, project management and facilitation skills
  • Sound financial management, including budget oversight across several programmes
