Project & Strategy Officer

The Islamic Society of Britain, a community charity working with young British Muslims, is looking for a self-employed Project and Strategy Officer for around 16 hours a week on average, working remotely with the Executive Director as the main contact.

The role is varied. You will help plan physical and online events, run Zoom sessions and short courses, keep the website and calendar up to date, send the monthly newsletter and design posters. You will also build internal resources, support volunteer onboarding, look for partnerships and funding, write grant applications and help the charity work in line with its policies.

It suits an organised, strategic person with project delivery experience who is confident with digital tools and can work some evenings and weekends.
