Public Relations Representative (West Midlands)

Ummah Welfare Trust, the Bolton-based international relief and development charity, is looking for a Public Relations Representative for West Midlands. This is a full-time post (40 hours a week) based at the Birmingham office.

You will help the regional team raise awareness of UWT's campaigns and events and increase donations. The work involves building good relations with masjids, makaatib, community organisations, local businesses and donors; organising and taking part in masjid collections, including during Ramadan; distributing appeal materials; planning events and running stalls; recruiting and supporting volunteers; and representing the charity at meetings and events, including some public speaking.

It suits an enthusiastic, reliable person with good community links who supports UWT's aims. The post needs a DBS check.
