About the role

Muslim Charities Forum is seeking a Head of Policy and Advocacy on a three-year fixed-term contract.

The postholder will lead the Forum's policy, advocacy and research strategy, build the evidence base on issues affecting Muslim-led organisations, and engage with central and local government, devolved administrations and regional mayors. Representing the Forum at senior level and working with colleagues in communications, partnerships and sector capacity are central to the job.

It suits an experienced policy or public affairs professional who can influence decision makers, with an understanding of Islamic ethos and the wider charity sector. The Forum notes that sponsorship is not available.
