About the role

Islamic Relief Worldwide is looking for a Deputy Director of Global Programme Operations, a permanent senior post based in Birmingham.

As second-in-command of the International Programmes Division, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Islamic Relief's programmes worldwide. The role covers programme performance, risk management, compliance, safeguarding, financial stewardship, partnerships and emergency preparedness, working with the Director of International Programmes, regional leadership teams, country offices, donors and partners.

It suits an experienced humanitarian leader who has run complex multi-country programmes and major emergency responses, understands donor compliance and governance, and can turn strategy into effective delivery.
