About the role
Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Manchester, a Muslim faith secondary school for boys run by Star Academies, is looking for a permanent Assistant Head of Year, a non-teaching pastoral role of 37 hours a week, term time plus two weeks.
You will help create a caring, supportive environment for a year group, supporting pupils' wellbeing, behaviour and attendance and working closely with families and staff. Experience of mental wellbeing, SEMH, SEND or counselling support will help you respond well to pupils' needs.
It suits a confident communicator with GCSE English and Maths, experience with young people in education and the ability to speak to large groups of pupils. The proposed start is December 2026.
